Over the Ancient Theatre
On Saturday August 29th at 9:30 pm, we welcome and honor the great August full moon from the city's best viewing point, with a very special and sensitive musical performance, on Linto Rooftop. With the Ancient Theatre being the only background, we invite two great musicians to create the appropriate atmosphere for this night.
George Athanasiou in classical guitar and Teti Kasioni singing, join to create a journey full of colors and perfumes of distant places. Songs from the Mediterranean, Latin America and the Balkans find open ways to reach summer destinations and meet travel companions.
Multi-rhythms and strong performances by the two musicians in covers of timeless tracks of the international repertoire. Key characteristics of their performance are the escape and the passion that lure the audience into an unforgettable musical tour.
