Diminuita Quintet presents classic gypsy jazz melodies as well as swing and original compositions of the Christmas spirit at Linto Stage on Monday December 26, 2016, at 21:00.

 

One of the first bands that have been playing gypsy jazz in Greece since 2007, Diminuita as a trio have performed in various festivals in Greece and abroad- Djangofolllies Festival 2014, Django a Liberchies 2012, International Gypsy Jazz Meeting Poland 2012, Djangofest Athens 2010-2015. They have brought out two albums- "a-rhythmology" in 2011 and "Μani Sessions" in 2014.

 

The band turns into a small big band, "Le petit Big Band" in the summer of 2015, with orchestrations by George Papadogiannis, on compositions by Django Reinhardt, the Duke Ellington and other swing composers as well as original compositions.
