"Pulsar"

icon
The Pulsar performance, after its successful course in Bios, Athens, comes back onto Linto Stage on Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th of December, 2015, at 21.00 in a co-production with ''Without Omega'' and Kubrick. This is a solo, speech and motion performance dealing with the attempt of a woman today to bring order to the chaos that fills her mind: from the everyday management, to the attempt to act against what goes beyond her, and to the reflection of where she can have faith in today, when things seem to fall apart.

A delusional monologue of explosive rhythm with multiple transformations. The heroine simultaneously with the past, present and future, attempts to reach the elusive, to find hope in disaster, to shed light on the darkness of human nature. She is desperate and funny, grand and bizarre, frantic and vulnerable. The whole of human experience - the hopes, the stories, the fears - swirl in her head, as she tries to accept and beat time.

During the performance we listen to excerpts from Amorgos by N. Gatsos, excerpts from "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" by Fr. Nietzsche, poetry by William Carlos Williams and original texts written during the research by the performance coefficients. The show is in Greek with some parts in English.

* The Pulsar is a star also called “the beacon of the universe”, because it looks like it is flashing as it rapidly rotates with the most punctual rate in space.
