Theodore live The talented artist Theodore accompanied by his band will perform live on Linto stage on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 22:00 for a great show.
Theodore was born in Athens in 1992 and studied music composition and film music in London. He released his first album in 2011, entitled "7". His second album entitled "It is but it's not", whose production is signed by Ken Thomas (Sigur Ros, Yann Tiersen, Daughter, M83) and whose mastering by the famous Ted Jensen, was completed and released on October 12, 2015, by Universal.
He is known for the contrasts used in his music, as he combines the classical with the electronic sound, creating that special effect which is his identity.
He has presented his music in various music stages and many european festivals, which in addition to Greece and Great Britain include Poland, Italy and France. Moreover, he has created music for several shows, most recently for the show "Window" by Matina Megkla in the Michalis Cacoyannis Foundation. Meanwhile, he has already started his professional career in film score, composing music for the feature film Bourek, a Hellenic American production which is to be released, and which sparked his spectacular participation in the premiere of the 5th Athens Open Air Film Festival, in which he was summoned to musically ornate the silent film The Cameraman by Buster Keaton, and present it live while the movie was playing in the ancient temple of Olympian Zeus.
In the summer of 2015, although feverishly preparing for the upcoming "It is but it's not" european tour he never withdraw from creating interesting projects. Together with a multimember team they flew to London to record a special edition of the album "It is but it's not", at the legendary Studio 2 of the Abbey Road Studios where it has actually also been filmed and will be released soon. And because he always likes to keep in touch with his audience and unimpededly share his music with them, he started the Live Streaming Sessions with Theodore, a series of improvisational live shows which are played out in his studio and broadcast live via YouTube.
