Το 5th Larissa Developers Meetup είναι εδώ και σας παρουσιάζει δύο εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέροντα θέματα. Η αρχή θα γίνει με ό,τι πιο hot υπάρχει σε front-end web development technologies: ReactJS, και στη συνέχεια θα αναλυθούν οι τεχνικές του Gamification ως εργαλείο για να δημιουργεί κανείς πιο ελκυστικές εφαρμογές.

1. Introduction to ReactJS

Ομιλητής: Θοδωρής Κέλογλου (Software Developer specialised in Javascript, Node.js, Angular and React)

React is a JavaScript library for the frontend developed by Facebook that has attracted massive popularity lately. Used both by large companies (eg. Netflix, Airbnb) and by fresh new startups, it has succeeded in taking over Angular as the go-to frontend technology. In this talk we will discover its functionality using code samples and understand its advantages over other options. We will also talk about the React ecosystem and how it contributes to the core React library.

2. Gamification

Ομιλητής: Βασίλης Γκογκίδης (Gamification Designer, International Speaker and Trainer at GAMIFICATION+LTD)

Gamification has been a buzzword for quite some time now both in corporate and gaming circles. What is gamification though and why are people talking about it? Gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. The reason people talk about it is because it helps organisations boost their customers and employees motivation and engagement. Join us in this presentation to find out if gamification can help you improve your products and services.
